This beautiful thing we call life :)

This semester, although it is tough, is going so much better. I’m finding myself smiling randomly all throughout the day and I love it! I feel like I am enjoying every second of every day, which is how it should be. I’m sorry if I was grouchy last semester at all, my sincerest apology. So here are a few shout outs to some of the many reasons I can’t get enough of life..

·      Ashley Lauren Richards: yes, I now have a roomie! It is sooo great. We never have a second where we aren’t laughing, or yelling, or singing, BMPing, or dancing, or simply going crazy. Lets just say, it’s always a party in 1102 Taylor Hall.
·      Missionary Wall: In the middle of our room is a missionary wall that displays all of our dear friends that are on missions! This wall is so adorable if I do say so myself. Right now we have a totally of 42 missionaries up, and counting! If ever I’m not smiling one glance at the missionary wall and my face lights up. It makes me so happy that I have been surrounded by such amazing young men that will give up 2 years of their life to serve the Lord.
·      Brother Parker: My Book of Mormon teacher is a truly inspired, and he is also quite a hoot. He is having us all read 30 minutes daily in the Book of Mormon and I feel like my life has changed. I look forward every day to the time where I can sit down and read the scriptures. I feel like I am preaching along with Alma and fighting along with Moroni, as cheesy as that sounds :)
·      Jeggings: oh my word! Talk about comfort. If I could, I would wear jeggings all day every day. They are so stretchy and so comfortable. Today, sitting in the middle of class the thought really entered my mind ‘Chelsee did you forget to put on pants’ then the smart Chelsee answered back ‘Of course, you just can’t tell because of these beautiful little jeggings.’
·      Accounting: okay well, it’s not that I love this class, because it really has made me and Ashley go certifiably insane. But we sure have fun with it. First off we put Norm, our dear buddy, at speed 1.8 when we watch it. Hehe. We also have learned to be creative, we come up with acronyms to remember information. For instance: In Ashleys Room She Poops Jars Plus Jelly. IARSPJPJ. Yeah.. don’t ask.
·      Country: I have recently rediscovered a passion for country. Country always tells a story and allows you to sing along! What more could you ask for.
·      Legends: I don’t think I could survive without legends! There food is oh so good. I think I’ve been there 2000 times already this semester. They make one mean Turkey Sandwich.
·      Parents: My parents always believe in me. They are always willing to talk and are always trying to help me succeed. The other day I got my first 5 on a quiz in accounting, so I texted Mama and Patcha to let them know. With in minutes Patcha texts back: Chelsee you are a rockstar!! And Mama texts back: I am so proud of you! I love you forever. I could not have asked for better parents, Thankyou Mama and Patcha for always being there, always supporting me, and for giving me the opportunity to come to BYU.
·      BYU Aerobics wristband: I love to work out and stay healthy, and my dearest Mommy was nice enough to buy me and Annaliese wristbands this semester. We’ve had them for a week and I think we’ve already got the moneys worth. We have been to numerous classes and we have had so much fun working out together. I love waking up the next morning SOO SORE and finding a text from Annaliese: ‘Can you move?’. Of course my response: ‘Nope’. We are getting so fit :)
·      Canon Sd4000 IS: My new Camera that I got for Christmas is adorable and so amazing! I take so many pictures and there are so many rad functions! Not to mention this camera is a candy apple red. The perfect camera for me .
·      Pretty Little Liars: okay, although this is lame this show is really a great obsession. PLL makes Mondays one of the greatest days of the week. Although it is frustrating how they keep me hanging, I swear one day I will figure out who you are A!
·      Kelsie Shae Mcdonald: for letting me call you if I ever need someone to console me, or for just letting me cry to you sometimes.
·      Sista Friend: for being another one of my biggest fans, and for being someone who I truly admire with my whole heart. She is amazing and she truly makes me a better person. I miss her so much but can’t wait to see her in a few short months!!

Gordon B. Hinckley once said, “The way will be lighter, the worries will be fewer, the confrontations will be less difficult if we cultivate a spirit of happiness.” And I truly believe that. Life is to be enjoyed not just endured :)
